Van Loveren
‘Bottles of Hope’

In May, one of the worst storms to hit the Western Cape tore through Van Loveren, flooded vineyards, thousands of bottles buried under mud. Rather than let the story end there, Food Lover’s Market bought every surviving bottle, exactly as the storm left them. Flood Wines. Bottles of Hope, every bottle carries the truth of what happened and the hope that came after.

Bottle Tags

Tags with the Flood Wines, Bottles of Hope story hang directly from a hook on the wooden bin. Customers can help themselves to a tag and attach it to their own bottle, making the moment feel personal and intentional. It turns the act of picking up a bottle into a small ritual, and sends the story home with every single purchase.

The label may be weathered. The wine is not.

A sandwich frame stands beside every bin, carrying the story and the price, each bottle a reminder that hope is stronger than any storm.
